After a quick shop for our twenty four challenged friends in Relleu at our favourite super store Makro Benidorm, which was mostly paid for by last week’s veggie bag orders, we were all off to spend a glorious day up at the farm. While our lovely “Make a Smile” lady Warriors planted rows of winter veggies and packed your veggie orders for this week, we had a super surprise visit from our Oliva U3A friends who after one of their awesome fund raising parties last week in the name of “Make a Smile”, presented us with a cheque for a whopping €525.
Things will be very financially difficult for these Children’s homes over the next few months now Emaus has gone into total liquidation, however, with your help and support we can make a huge difference to the lives of these children and challenged youngsters until a solution can be found. I would also like to thank everyone who has “shared” our posts and Facebook page, although we must keep the children’s identity secret for safety reasons people must be aware that in 2016 on the Costa Blanca there are 90 children and twenty four mentally challenged youngsters and their Carers who desperately need support
